Gagan had planned to start his firm in 2018 but eventually it materialized in 2019. His family business being related construction and construction materials, his firm was just the right combination for the already existing business.

Though Arch Studio18's inception was originally planned for 2018, Gagan felt compelled to pursue a deeper understanding of design by immersing himself in the world of interior architecture after completing his schooling. However, a year later, his unwavering attraction to architecture led him to embrace a fresh start and embark on a quest to master the fundamentals.

Completing his Bachelor's in Architecture from the prestigious institution in Chandigarh, Gagan wasted no time in gaining hands-on experience. He joined a residential-focused firm as a novice, despite facing challenges such as inadequate compensation and delayed payments. Undeterred by these hurdles, Gagan maintained a positive outlook, recognizing the importance of mastering the intricacies of both office and on-site work.
